MahJong solitaire is a captivating game that bears resemblance to the popular game of playing cards. The objective is to skillfully clear the playing area by matching pairs of tiles. However, removing a pair of tiles is only permissible if both tiles meet the following conditions:

• There are no adjacent tiles on the left or right side of the chosen tile.
• There are no tiles directly above it.

It's worth mentioning that only one pair of tiles can be removed at a time, and each game of MahJong solitaire comprises a total of 72 pairs. The tiles share similarities with standard playing cards as they are categorized into specific suits, namely Characters, Bamboos, Circles, Dragons, Winds, Seasons, and Flowers.

When matching pairs, it's important to note that Seasons and Flowers are the only suits where an exact match is not required. Essentially, any combination of Seasons or Flowers can be regarded as a pair as there is just one tile for each.

The game concludes when no more pairs remain, and achieving victory involves successfully clearing the entire board.

In terms of functionality, MahJong solitaire offers various options accessible from the menu. These include starting a new game or continuing from a previous one. Additionally, there are customization features allowing you to display the number of available free pairs and fix the screen orientation in landscape mode, among others.
